Fields that matter most

  • Growth stage: pre-PMF, early-PMF, or growth
  • Primary goal: signups, qualified pipeline, closed revenue, or retention
  • Sales motion: self-serve, founder-led, or hybrid
  • Target customer and current constraints
  • Top metric, current value, and target

How to use it well

Be specific about the bottleneck

If the company needs demos more than traffic, say that directly. HAL should not infer strategy from incomplete hints.

Keep constraints current

If founder time, support load, or content capacity changes, update the project context so recommendations stay realistic.

Review it when the business shifts

Context should change when the company changes, not once a year.
